PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
DEDT activator 1770 is a single component non CFC solvent base product, formulated to
provide a faster cure on acicdic surfaces and cure excess DEDT cyanoacrylate adhesive outside
the bond lines. The product is highly flammable.
TYPICAL APPLICATIONS
DEDT 1770 is used to increase the cure speed of DEDT cyanoacrylate adhesive. It can be
either pre-or post-applied to the bond. It is especially suited for post application on exposed
cyanoacrylate adhesive outside of the bond line.

PRODUCT BENEFITS

TYPICAL PERFORMANCE
Fixture time and cure speed achieved as a result of using DEDT 1770 depend on the adhesive
used and substrate bonded.
HANDLING PROCEDURES
DEDT 1770 is highly flammable.
The solvent may effect certain plastics or coatings. It is recommended that the user check all
surfaces for compatibility before use.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE
1. Apply DEDT cyanoacrylate adhesive to one of the surfaces to be bond and assemble.
2. Apply DEDT 1770 over all exposed cyanoacrylate adhesive by spray or by drop. Use one

drop of activator per one drop of exposed adhesive.
3. Apply the DEDT cyanoacrylate product immediately after drying but not more than 50
seconds thereafter.
4. Apply accelerator again if a delay of more than 45 seconds between original activation and
adhesive application.
PRODUCT STORAGE
DEDT 1770 is classified as highly flammable and must be stored in an appropriate manner in
compliance with relevant regulations. Do not store combustible materials. Optimal storage: 8℃
to 21℃.
